All reservations can be made on Resy. Reservations are open 45 days at a time. A new period opens at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (CT).

All reservation purchases are final and non-refundable. If you would like to change your reservation to a later date, we ask that you contact us to change the reservation no later than one week before your reservation date. All reservations can be transferred to another party by emailing us at reservations@dakarnola.com with the party name transfer request.

We are a cashless establishment for transactions however tips in cash are always appreciated. All major credit cards are accepted.

We have a full-service bar and wine pairing which can be purchased in house while dining. A 20% service charge is included on all beverages in house. Tipping on top is not mandatory but is greatly appreciated.

Please note that our menu changes often and features seafood only dishes. Most items are dairy and gluten-free.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a vegan diet because the tasting menu features seafood and fin fish stock throughout.
We can accommodate a shellfish allergy if we have advance notice. Kindly note the shellfish allergy upon reservation, and we will be able to accommodate it. We are otherwise unable to accommodate a fin fish allergy as the protein otherwise is fin fish.
We are unable to accommodate the following allergies: Fin fish, soy, shellfish aroma/fumes, allium, honey. We can substitute a shellfish allergy however we can NOT substitute a shellfish aroma/fumes.

At the moment, we do not have a vegetarian-tasting menu. Fin fish stock appear in our rice and soup dishes so there are not a lot, of course options for a strict vegetarian.

Dakar is a space of celebration and feeling good. We ask that you wear whatever makes you feel special whether that’s a sequin ball gown or your favorite jeans.

Due to the small size and intimacy of the restaurant as well as the 2.5-3 hour duration of the tasting experience Dakar is not a kid-friendly environment. At the moment, we are unable to accommodate children who can not sit still in a regular chair at length.

All guests are served at the same time. In order to minimize disruptions to the kitchen, late arrivals will be served the current course being served.

The service fee enables us to ensure fair wages and covers medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits for all staff, including kitchen and front-of-the-house employees.

We are unable to accommodate parties larger than six due to the communal nature of our dining room. To book parties of seven or more or to inquire about a private event or buyout, view our private events page for details.

Gift cards can be purchased online and expire one year from date of purchase.
