Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee the guest-facing operations of our upscale dining establishment, utilizing the “Teranga Culture” style approach to hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in restaurant management, specifically in Haute Cuisine, white-tablecloth, or upscale dining settings, and possess a stable work history. They should have a working knowledge of wine and spirits service, with an Introductory Sommelier or first-level certification being a plus.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, hiring, and onboarding FOH staff, conducting weekly wine training, maintaining and improving wine and beverage inventory, and optimizing guest experiences through effective scheduling. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are essential, as the candidate will be responsible for enhancing the dining experience with detailed descriptions of food, wine, and spirits. Additionally, the role entails full P&L responsibility, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a positive atmosphere. A willingness to learn about West African foods is highly desirable.
