Pastry Assistant

We’re looking for a dedicated Pastry Assistant to support our Pastry Chef in crafting beautiful, flavorful desserts that reflect the heart of our cuisine. This role reports directly to the Pastry Chef.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional pastry experience

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary artistry

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy kitchen environment

  • Ability to follow and accurately execute recipes as written

  • Familiarity with producing pastry creams, sauces, ice creams, sorbets, bread and cookie doughs

  • Ability to adapt to kitchen needs; flexible with producing pastry as well as savory items

  • Open to learning new techniques and working with unfamiliar food items

Schedule:

  • Morning prep shifts with occasional evening availability

  • Reliable and supportive; attendance and punctuality is high priority

  • Keeps a positive attitude in high stress situations with strong problem-solving skills

  • Works expeditiously while maintaining quality; adaptable to varying deadline-driven needs

  • Maintains high expectations for self; a continual learner that is always seeking growth
